Here at Stanwells we have the Anine Bing Roy Jean in a mid-wash.  A wash for every occasion The beauty of denim lies in its versatility, and colour plays a key role in how you wear it. Dark indigo feels timeless and refined, pairing beautifully with camel, cream, chocolate and luxurious knitwear. It is an elegant choice for both everyday dressing and smarter occasions. Mid-blue denim brings a relaxed, lived-in feel to the wardrobe. Team it with soft neutrals, rich autumnal colours or contrasting textures for a look that feels effortless rather than overworked. Smoky black denim is the understated alternative to classic black trousers. Particularly beautiful for evening, it creates a sophisticated foundation for a silk shirt, a statement belt and heeled boots. Each wash has its own character, but all share one quality: the ability to work with the pieces you already own. From everyday to after dark One of denim's greatest strengths is how easily it transitions between occasions. For relaxed days, embrace a slouchy wide leg or an arc barrel shape with a soft knit, a leather jacket and comfortable boots. Keep the palette tonal for an effortlessly pulled-together look. For a more polished approach, choose a high-rise wide leg or slim straight jean and add a beautifully cut blazer. The contrast between relaxed denim and considered tailoring creates a balance that feels both modern and timeless. When evening calls, reach for dark indigo or smoky black. Add a fluid silk shirt, delicate jewellery and a heeled boot. With just a few thoughtful changes, your favourite jeans become the foundation for a look that feels entirely evening-appropriate.       The art of mixing textures Denim is one of the most versatile neutrals in the wardrobe. It works beautifully with colour, print and texture, making it a natural starting point for seasonal styling. For Autumn/Winter, consider pairing blue denim with soft cashmere, tactile suede or rich chocolate leather. Cream and ivory bring lightness, while burgundy, forest green and deeper autumnal tones create a more considered seasonal palette. For a little contrast, introduce a printed blouse or a silk scarf. The simplicity of denim allows more expressive pieces to shine without competing for attention. The result is a wardrobe that feels individual, effortless and full of possibilities. An enduring essential Trends may influence the silhouettes we choose, but denim itself never really goes out of style. Its heritage, practicality and understated elegance give it a unique place in the modern wardrobe. The key is to discover the shapes that feel right for you, experiment with different washes and style them in ways that reflect your own sense of dressing. From relaxed daytime looks to refined evening combinations, denim is a piece to return to time and again — seasonless, versatile and endlessly wearable.
