We’re set to be inside for the foreseeable future thanks to covid-19, so there will be a sure shift in the way we dress. Whilst some may believe that fashion should not be at the top of their priority list, here at Stanwells we believe that what you wear can really boost your mood. Working at home encourages us to stay comfy and although that seems appealing for now, the novelty will soon wear off. We need to keep up appearances in order to boost our spirits and work more efficiently despite these strange circumstances. In light of this, we’ve curated an at-home edit packed full with chic yet comfortable pieces suitable for your new indoor life...
You can't go wrong with a pair of jeans, whether you're a skinny jean lover or prefer a more relaxed silhouette, they are a true wardrobe staple. If you're looking to stay on-trend during your isolation, then opt for either wide or straight leg styles in a relaxed fit. Our top picks are Golden Goose's Texas cropped jeans, Boyish The Mikey wide leg jeans and Baum und Pferdgarten's Nanne cuffed jeans this season.
Possibly the most important part of your at-home wardrobe, knitwear will keep you cosy until the sun starts to shine. Our new season knitwear ranges from tonal basics by Vince to vibrant knits in rainbow colours by Hayley Menzies. Wear yours to add a touch of luxury to a basic jeans and tee look or invest in some cashmere loungewear by Chinti & Parker for the ultimate sports-luxe look.
Although we are unable to go about our day to day lives as normal at the moment, we're still encouraged to get out and about on walks in your local area. This means trainers and accessories are still required! We are loving all the sparkly sneakers that we have this season, they are sure to brighten your day in these uncertain times. These cross-body phone cases by Bandolier are at the top of our at-home wishlist, cool and practical, they will ensure you never lose your phone again!
