Couto Toothpaste In 1932 Dr Alberto Ferreira do Couto invented the Couto toothpaste along with a stomatologist . Created to restrict gum retraction and gingivitis , Couto is still semi hand –made, without using animal ingredients plus Couto is still  presented in the original retro packaging.   The famous Couto Pasta Dentifrica contains no flouride , but does contain natural peppermint , thynol , menthol and eugenol .
