Before launching Single in 1994, Russian-born Galina Sobolev trained at FIT in New York. Among others, she worked for the knitwear manufacturer producing for Marc Jacobs. Galina's cosmopolitan background is evident throughout her work and is reflected in her superstar devotees who include Jennifer Lopez, Eva Longoria and Mischa Barton.
